| IT Strategy Work |
Trading Technology is
at the forefront of strategic thinking and has been behind many of
the changes in financial services in the last five years. Some examples
of our strategy work is given below:
Exchange mergers – Technology Comparisons
Two Exchanges were due to merge and needed a consultancy to advise
them on which technology to keep and which to retire. As Trading
Technology has a clear understanding of the technology used
by Exchanges, and has worked with multiple vendors, it was ideally
placed to be able to recommend the best solution based on the requirements
for Trading systems stretching into the future.
Funding arrangements
A major technology provider was considering investing in a new ISV
venture and wanted a perspective on the likely success of the target
company. Trading Technology accurately predicted
the problems that the company was likely to encounter and foresaw
a number of measures that needed to be taken before investing. This
was a useful safety-check for the technology provider and ensured
that their money was wisely spent.
Trading Technology has also advised other global
organisations to fund or not to fund, and has done significant market
research into he use of technology by broking firms and the likely
revenues that they can expect. |
Multi-million
dollar rollout of technology
A large global investment bank wanted to install a trading system
across its European offices. Trading Technology
sized the project and proposed a strategy as to how the solutions
would be implemented. Trading Technology also identified
the solution provider to be the largest risk in the delivery of
the project and helped form the contractual arrangements that ensured
timely delivery of the solutions.
Trading Technology has also performed other strategy
work that has resulted in significant changes to national and international
financial services. Please contact
us for further details.
