Project management of a European exchange
central trading system
Put in charge of a software house development team who did not see
the need for any form of management, the consultant in charge right-sized
the project three-fold, installed quality assurance compatible with
ISO 9001 and ensured the timely completion and installation of the
system. The Exchange system went live in 1999.
Project management of a web-based private
equity trading system
With the rise of start-ups as a new business model, the issue of
private equity has been crucial. There are increasing numbers of
companies seeking investment and more funds available to invest.
Trading Technology was given project management responsibility
for developing a private equity system from scratch. Trading
Technology's structured approach ensured the system was developed
to the high standards necessary to guarantee fairness and adherence
to SFA regulations.

Getting a leading brokerage onto a new
exchange
A leading brokerage in London needed to join and start trading on
the newly formed Irish Stock Exchange with a deadline of two months.
Trading Technology successfully mobilised the internal IT
communications, operations and development groups to ready the business
for the start of trading.
Program management of a large global bank's
systems to be ready for SETS release 3.1.
Trading Technology was able to provide interim management
to an IT department deluged with projects. With three months to
go, there was no structure in place to manage the transition to
SETS 3.1. Five business-critical systems needed upgrading, testing
and releasing, plus some 100 users needed training on the changes.
Within days, a team of project managers had been formed for each
of the five systems and training staff recruited to educate users
on the changes. The upgrades went live on schedule.
